ECOTRAX Composite Railroad Ties

AXION International's ECOTRAX® Composite Railroad Ties are of the highest quality, made using our patented formula - an industrial grade, Recycled Structural Composite (RSC). ECOTRAX® ties currently meet and exceed all AREMA standards. They resist plate wear, hold spikes, and maintain gauge – even after more than ten years at the TTCI HTL test track, accumulating over 1,800 MGT of 39-ton axle loads.

ECOTRAX® simply outperform traditional railroad ties. They are virtually impervious to the elements; will not rust, splinter, crumble, rot, absorb moisture or leach toxic chemicals into the environment; and are completely impervious to infestation by insects. ECOTRAX® ties offer a lower lifetime cost than traditional materials. Installing ECOTRAX® requires no special tools or training.
